Probably uses this voabulary to be as simple as possible, that way even an 8 year- old would understand. The slurring could be caused by video recording nervousness in trying to sound perfect without messing up; I happen to slur a lot of words when giving a class presentation and I am nervous, or if I am self conscious of how I sound when talking to someone. You'd expect that by being focused on not slurring you would slur less, but infact you don't.

I have such mixed feelings about this video series. This dude posesses the vocabulary of an eight year-old and slurs his speech like he just downed an entire bottle of wine...yet, he actually knows his stuff, and does a decent job in teaching it.
